Into the Wild leads Actors Guild nominations



The nominations for the Screen Actors Society Awards throw been announced with the Sean Penn-directed 'Into the Wild' leadership the short list.
The film's headliner, Emile Hirsch, is nominated for the Best Doer honor, with co-stars Hal Holbrook and Catherine of Aragon Keener shortlisted in the Topper Supporting Actor and Actress categories respectively.
The put of 'Into the Wild' are also nominated for the Best Roll awarding.
Shortlisted with Hirsch for Topper Actor ar George IV Clooney ('Michael Clayton'), Daniel Day-Lewis ('There Will Be Blood'), Ryan Gosling ('Lars and the Real Girl') and Viggo Mortensen ('Eastern Promises').
Cate Blanchett ('Elizabeth: The Golden Age'), Julie Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie ('Away from Her'), Marion Cotillard ('La Compete en Rose'), Angelina Jolie ('A Powerful Heart') and Ellen Page ('Juno') are nominated for Best Actress.
Connection Holbrook on the Best Support Doer short list are Casey Affleck ('The Assassination of Jesse William James by the Coward Robert Ford'), Javier Bardem ('No Country for Old Men'), Tommy Lee Jones ('No Land for Old Men') and Tom Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson ('Michael Clayton').
Keener is joined on the Charles Herbert Best Support Actress short list by Cate Blanchett ('I'm Non There'), Ruby Dee ('American Gangster'), Amy Ryan ('Gone Baby Gone') and Tilda Swinton ('Michael Clayton').
Along with the stars of 'Into the Wild', the actors in '3:10 to Yuma', 'American Gangster', 'Hairspray' and 'No Nation for Old Men' are likewise nominated for Best Cast.
The winners volition be announced on Dominicus 27 January.
